Chalet 3

This was the site of one of the original houses on the property, the

Rangers House. However in March 2005 it was demolished and a new 3 bedroom Timber house was built. The new house has a big picture window  in front of bedroom 1 so you can lay in bed and look out to Mt Lindsay and up to Toowoomba.

It has lots of “Echo’s” of the old cabin, same flat roof, same style inside. I reused all the timber, what was the floor is now the walls, the pine ceiling is the same, the Oregon rafters are now in the walls etc. So for regulars its going to feel a lot like the old house!

This house sleeps 8, it has 2 queen sized bedrooms, 1 bedroom with  two single beds and 2 fold away beds for children.

As with all the other houses it has a fully self contained kitchen, stove micro wave and cook top. Also this house has  a wood heater and large lounge.

The new deck is on the western side so the views are even better than before.

The new house is 200square meters compared with the old house which was 50square meters. Click here for a virtual tour of Chalet 3.

PRICES:  $350 per night Friday and Saturday, $300 Sunday - Thursday.

You may need this map to find your house/chalet. Because this is a small family business sometimes Geoff is out chasing cattle or working off the farm. All the chalets have a whiteboard next to the front door and your name will be written on the board so you know where to go. Just go in a and help yourself, yes, we are pretty relaxed in Australia.

Prices for longer stays available upon request.

PRICES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE AND LONG WEEKENDS, EASTER AND QUEENS BIRTHDAY MAY HAVE MINIMUM NIGHT REQUIREMENTS.
